Yesterday I was out & about in Manchester for The Manchester Weekender. One of the events at the museum was cancelled so instead we had a mooch about the museum as I've never been. We were on a bit of a schedule with lots of other things to see and so had to just fly around. One of the things that particularly caught my eye though was this small collection of microscopic wood samples. They are just beautiful and worth going back for another visit.
